Led end-to-end redesign and development of OMNY Health’s corporate website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Built a customizable WordPress template, integrated third-party APIs/plugins, and established a cohesive design system. Implemented responsive layouts across all devices, improving page load speed by 3x and boosting SEO rankings.

Site Pages

Worked alongside designers to draft page layouts and prototypes in Figma. Simultaneously created a selection of graphics and animations to be featured in the final design.

Translated prototype into a functional, responsive website by building a custom WordPress theme, including original templates and custom code. Integrated third party APIs for additional functionality, maintaining features of the original site such as the ability to view current job openings and apply directly on the site.

Local Wisdom

Marketing Designer

As a graphic designer at Local Wisdom, I specialize in crafting visually compelling and effective designs across multiple social media platforms. My role involves collaborating closely with our marketing team to develop designs that align with each client's brand identity and message.

Social Media

Worked alongside the marketing team to create weekly graphics for posting to Local Wisdom's social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn). Each graphic accompanies an article written by a member of the team offering advice and examples for improving workplace communication. I was responsible for creating cohesive and visually appealing designs following the company's branding guidelines. Programs used: Adobe Illustrator, Figma.

Animation

Learned the basics of animation with Adobe After Effects, which I then used to animate custom illustrations. Exported GIFs and video files were then integrated into marketing materials, bringing life and motion to company advertising!

FarmFresh

UX Research, UX/UI Design

This project was the culmination of a semester's worth of work in my Interaction Design course at Northeastern University. We learned the process of designing a web-based product with a hands-on approach, working through stages such as: user research, ideation, prototyping, wireframing, and presenting our findings. We touched on multiple areas of interest in the field of interaction design, balancing the creative process with interviewing users to understand their needs. With this information, we were then able to improve our products and build intuitive and accessible digital interfaces.

FarmFresh is an ideal resource for those seeking to shop at local, eco-friendly businesses. It helps users discover fresh produce and other goods from small, local vendors instead of large corporations. FarmFresh makes it easy to locate in-season, locally sourced products.

Mobile View

In order to learn more about responsive design, we were tasked with creating a complementary draft of our project in a mobile view. Adapting the design to suit smaller screens while maintaining the aesthetic, functionality, and readability of all the elements was a excellent learning experience.
