Hi, I'm Dani! I'm a software developer and user experience designer. I specialize in creating
intuitive and engaging digital experiences, blending technical expertise with a keen eye for design.
Whether I'm building seamless applications or crafting user-centric interfaces, I strive to make
technology more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Alongside my work in software development and UX design, I’m a dedicated freelancer, collaborating with
clients to bring their ideas to life through clean code and thoughtful design solutions.
Outside of tech, I’m an avid painter, drawer, and knitter—constantly inspired by my love for art and
creativity.
I have been studying programming languages both in and out of school since 2016,
beginning with my interest in HTML and CSS for web development. I attended Northeastern
University for Computer Science and built
a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), graduating in 2022. I gained experience in many areas, creating robust programs, designing responsive
websites, and building and maintaining relational databases. I was able to expand my
learning outside the classroom through my internships and six month long co-op opportunities,
taking the incentive to learn new programming languages (Python, Javascript) and explore
related fields (UX design, Data Visualization).
My Programming Languages:
In university, I continued my passion for art by incorporating multiple areas of design into my curriculum. I began by learning digital tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma) and the fundamentals of graphic design. I then broadened my understanding by studying typography, and began to combine all my digital design skills with my background in coding. In my later years, I directed my focus onto the area of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and responsive website design, culminating in a minor in User Experience Design.
